It was a beautiful day today. It was above 60 degrees and sunny. So it was impossible to stay inside. So I got in my car and explored. I went to a place called Maltby that my SIL's father suggested. It was an adorable small town. Then I went to an area I had been before called Country Village in Bothell. It is a nice place to walk around and shop. There were a bunch of Easter events going on so kids were all around having a blast. There are ducks just wandering and a rooster just minding his own business. I actually had to fight a duck for a parking spot. Then I ended up at the Waterfront in Seattle. I walked down from the aquarium to where Zack and Laura's rehearsal lunch was and then ended up at the market. The tulips were out and looking beautiful! I ran out of time to come back and explore around Bellevue...but I shall some day soon.
Finally, got my camera fixed and here are some pictures....

It is small but I love it. I have some unpacking to do still and with my parents coming up (YAY), I will get the rest of my stuff. But I have made it a home! The couch is very comfy for naps and sleepovers if you want to come visit!
So apparently it snowed this morning. I missed it because it was my flex day and I got to sleep in (such a heavenly thing!). And last night I froze at Zack and Laura's soccer game. Definitely will take some getting used to! Cold in March? Not 77 degrees... what? Although as I watch the US Mens soccer game in Colorado, this seems like nothing (it is a winter wonderland there). I am so lucky to have gotten such sweet mail this week. I do love mail and I love sending things to people. I single handily will keep the USPS in business this year!
Saint Patrick's Day gift from the Lanes
A wonderful envelope filled with cards from the Muellers
Other updates: I finally have all my furniture. Putting some stuff away still and one more trip to Target and I should be all moved in (well until I get the additional items from my parents!). And the other day, the sunset was beautiful.
So much is going on. I am finally getting comfy at my home. I have a couch (yay!) and internet and TV (with some sound issues but overall it works). I have most of my furniture. I am still trying to find a place for everything. I promise pictures will come soon. I have already been up here for over a month, which is crazy. My parents are going to be up here in April (yay!). And that means the rest of my stuff will be here. Everything is moving very quickly. Now, the next focus is meeting people... wish me luck! I have had a lot of fun with Zack and Laura's friends. I am going to try out a church this weekend with an old friend from high school. And, hopefully I find some other places to meet people! Meeting people will be my biggest challenge. I am also so grateful for technology. I have gotten to Face Time with some of my friends from home and it is so good to catch up. And get to see the kids that are all growing up too fast. Enjoy....
So I plan to update soon. But I currently have no internet. After Saturday, I will update of my adventures!
I am in my apartment. There are some issues (like I have to wait three weeks for a couch and the bed frame!). However, I am doing my best to make my apartment a home for me. Pictures will come soon!
